It's only day 5 and we're already in ciaos
What more can be said? It’s only Day 5 of the Trump Regime, yet the damage is clear. His actions have already proven that his promise of being a “Dictator on Day 1” wasn’t an empty threat. He’s rolled back protections for the most vulnerable—seniors and disabled people—by removing medication caps, pardoned January 6th rioters, and revoked the Equal Opportunity Executive Order, undermining decades of progress. His dangerous moves continue with attacks on basic freedoms and dignity, including the creation of an executive order declaring only two genders, ignoring the complexity of biology and human diversity.
But the truth is, we’ve always been used as pawns in a political game. This isn’t just about the LGBTQIA+ community; it’s about all marginalized groups being manipulated for power. While fear and division are fostered, anger is the only response that matters now.
Yet, within these dark hours, there is hope. Each of you is a lamppost, and now is the time to shine. No matter your identity, the time to unite is now. Put aside differences and stand together for what’s right. Our collective strength is our power. We have 1,457 days to act—let’s make them count. The choice is ours.
