What more can be said? It’s only Day 5 of the Trump Regime, yet the damage is clear. His actions have already proven that his promise of being a “Dictator on Day 1” wasn’t an empty threat. He’s rolled back protections for the most vulnerable—seniors and disabled people—by removing medication caps, pardoned January 6th rioters, and revoked the Equal Opportunity Executive Order, undermining decades of progress. His dangerous moves continue with attacks on basic freedoms and dignity, including the creation of an executive order declaring only two genders, ignoring the complexity of biology and human diversity. But the truth is, we’ve always been used as pawns in a political game. This isn’t just about the LGBTQIA+ community; it’s about all marginalized groups being manipulated for power.   I Got Rid of Facebook and Have No Regrets: My Thoughts On The New Meta Guidelines By JACINDA HALL, Independent Writer As we all know, the new year started last month, and Meta co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that he would end third-party fact-checking on his platforms and switch to a community notes model similar to what Elon Musk did for Twitter. And yes, I still call it Twitter because “X” is a dumb name for a social platform and I’ve always known the website as “Twitter.” With these new rules, Meta is now allowing users on their platforms to insult and dehumanize members of the LGBTQ community and women.
